There’s this thing we do at our house, where we lay out a spread of biscuits for the guests. Apparently it is impolite to finish off a spread of biscuits if you’re a guest (unless they’re meant for the children, then by all means the children may finish them off). So we end up putting half the biscuits back in the biscuit pot and next time guests come over we get out the same biscuits from the biscuit pot and lay them out for the guests. Again we put some of the same biscuits back in the biscuit pot until next time. I can’t help but wonder just how many times we’ve aired these biscuits and just how long they’ll last us until we have to go and buy the new batch and also just how long these biscuits have been rejected for. It’s just strange.
